FAQ
What does CE mean?
The CE marking indicates that a product complies with applicable European Union health, safety, and environmental protection requirements. Products that meet these requirements may be placed on the market within the European Economic Area (EEA).
CE stands for “Conformité Européenne,” meaning European Conformity. The marking signifies that the manufacturer has assessed the product and determined that it meets the relevant EU legislation and harmonized standards applicable to that product category.
For applicable Bobster® eyewear products, compliance may include testing in accordance with standards such as EN ISO 12312-1 for sunglasses and sun glare filters.
Additional product compliance information and Declarations of Conformity are available through Bobster Customer Service or via the compliance resources on our website.
CE Marking
CE marking indicates that a product conforms to applicable European Union safety requirements. For Bobster® eyewear, the CE marking and lens filter category are indicated on the product. The exact location of these markings may vary depending on the model.
