SPEKTRAX CONVERTIBLE, 3 SETS OF LENSES & PRESCRIPTION INSERT

The Spectrax is ideal for riders requiring prescription lenses, this eyewear converts smoothly from sunglass to goggle with the included detachable strap. The removable RX insert fits securely between the shatter-resistant polycarbonate lens and the anti-impact frame which is lined with open cell foam. Excellent peripheral vision is produced from the curved, single-lens geometry. For continued activity through the day and night, the three lens options of anti-fog smoked, amber and clear are included.

I've loved these Bobster sunglasses -- with prescription inserts and interchangeable lenses -- since I purchased them in Yellowstone in 2008, over 25,000 miles ago. These sunglasses have worked really well, and better yet, they're warrantied against breakage (I've had two eye/ear pieces replaced free). Fantastic product, great customer service after the sale.

After years of spending $400.00 plus on high end sunglasses, I found these. For $110.00, I got essentially three pair of riding glasses. They fit well, no more red eye, wind and sand don't bother me anymore! Looking at the Cylinders for a change of style.

I bought my 1st set of these at one of the events way back in 2000 as a night ridding solution. It turned out they were so comfortable I started wearing them as my everyday riders. Several years ago my RX changed and while at another event I purchased a very expensive pair of metal fram wrap arounds. They are so unique that only the company is capable of applying the RX. I didn't change the Bobster back then due to normal wear & tear plus age. Florida is tough in all things. Well my RX changed again recently & I purchased another set of the Bobsters to cutdown on RX charges in multiple pairs of glasses. I now wear these as my everyday glasses again & love the ability to change lenses with out fingerprints. I go to clear at night & here in So. West Fl. You will ride in the rain in the summer months. I like switching to the amber for the rain. Best glasses I have owned and for the price everyone should have a pair of these. The only change I would ask for ridding around water & bright sunshine all the time would be for polarized lenses at least for the dark ones. That would make these perfect. Customer service is amongst the best as well.

I have used these Spedtrax for over a year and a half. I have had the Rx changed twice. The first time was to change from Bi-focal to Tri-focal. The second time was to change the Rx altogether. I have also ordered all three lenses, due to being sratched. I also opted to order the nose pieces and leave on in each lense, as it makes for a quicker change over. The only thing that I have had to modify was the bows, as they seem to get pinched behind my ears in my full-face and 3/4 helmet. I have recommended these to other riders and my optometrist will also order them for their customers. This is a great innovation for those riders that need glasses.

I love these glasses! My Eye Doctor & the lens manufacturer had a few problems getting the prescription just right (Three Attempts) It seems I have a complex prescription with multible lens and a strong prism which caused me to see double vision. The wrap around style really screws up the prism, but they finally got it dialed in perfect. Very comfortable to wear and ride all day at 75MPH with no wind in my eyes. Have had some large hardshell bugs and bumble bees bounce off the lens with never a problem.

I have discomfort becouse my eye pupils distance is 72mm and standard RX insert width is too small. Was told they sell only one kind of RX insert for Spectrax...

I bought these glasses 6 mo. ago and really enjoy wearing them. They're functional, fit my face really well and are comfortable. I did have a slight problem when the hinge on the right ear piece broke out. I called the customer service line and was surprised to find that they're sending me the replacement arm under warranty. And Melissa, was great helping me with my call. Thanks alot for your help.

love the product, although only one nosepiece was included for the 3 lense inserts, and the nosepiece seems awkward to switch around for all 3 lenses. More can be purchased for $1.98 each, but I think the company should include 3 nosepieces with the purchase.
