PROWLER® TACTICAL GLASS, GREEN CAMO, ANSI Z87, MIL-PRF

This ANSI Z87+ eyewear made of military grade nylon in a green camo finish. The Prowler® offers maximum versatility with removable temples and goggle strap for quick conversion. Protective side shields add strength and guard against flying debris. The Prowler® eyewear system includes an anti-fog smoked lens which exceeds the impact requirements of the stringent military ballistics test, MIL-PRF-31013. The open cell foam absorbs perspiration while a microfiber carry pouch is included.

I have owned these convertible goggles for many months and they would have been perfect except for one design flaw. First, the full seal around the lens is fantastic, and the foam works perfectly. Also, the soft rubberized nosepiece is very comfortable; the only problem comes from the construction of the goggles. The plastic piece that clicks into place in the frame and rests over your ear digs into your skull. It isn't noticable at first, but after about thirty minutes, I have a sharp pain and pounding headache that can only be relieved by removing the goggles. The pain is especially noticable if something is worn over the goggles and pushes them into your head. This is dissapointing as the goggles work fantastic in every other aspect: the smoked lens are great, the full foam seal works well and keeps out dust, and the nosepiece is very comfortable. If not for the inherent design flaw, these goggles would be perfect, but I cannot reccomend goggles when I am not able to wear them for longer than half an hour at a time.
